02 · Preparation
First Charge
Before its first wear, the SOLARA should rest on its charger for at least two hours.
Connecting the Charger
Align the magnetic charging cable with the two contacts on the rear of the case. The connection forms automatically; the charging indicator will appear on the screen. Connect the opposite end to a 5V/1A USB charging head or a computer’s USB port.
Power Adapter Guidance
Use a standard wall adapter rated 5V / 0.5A or 5V / 1A. Always pair the watch with the charging cable supplied in the box.
Please Avoid
Car chargers, as in-vehicle voltage may fluctuate; fast-charging or multi-port adapters used to charge a phone and the watch simultaneously; and leaving the watch on charge unattended for extended periods.
Powering On
Press and hold the Power key for a few seconds to power on. The watch will also power on automatically when placed on its charger.
03 · Connection
Pairing with Da Fit
The SOLARA pairs with the Da Fit companion app, where you will manage every feature and review your daily insights.

Download the App
Search Da Fit on the Apple App Store (iOS 9.0 or later) or Google Play Store (Android 5.0 or later).

Register Your Account
Follow the on-screen instructions to register. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone before continuing.

Bind Your SOLARA
Open Device, then Add Device, and select the SOLARA from the list. There is no button to press on the watch itself, as the connection is made entirely from within the app. Keep the watch close at hand and charged while it searches. Should you need it, the watch’s MAC address is listed under About in the watch settings.

Synchronise
Once bound, the watch will reconnect automatically each time the app is opened. Pull down on the app’s data page to synchronise your latest readings.
04 · Gestures
Navigating the SOLARA
The watch is operated through four intuitive swipes from the main dial, and two side buttons.
Swipe Down
Control Centre — brightness, do-not-disturb, settings.
Swipe Up
Messages — your recent notifications, held for review.
Swipe Left
Main function interface — the watch’s applications.
Swipe Right
Express centre — your quick-access data cards.
The Power Key
A short press turns the screen on or off, or returns you to the watch face. A long press powers the watch on or off.
The Sport Key
A short press opens the main menu, or returns you to the previous interface. A long press enters sport mode directly, ready to begin a session.
05 · The Body
Health & Wellness
Heart Rate
A green sensor light activates on the underside of the case. Worn snugly, one finger-width above the wrist bone, a reading takes a few seconds. Automatic readings may also be enabled within the app, taken at set intervals as often as every five minutes.
Blood Oxygen — SpO2
The sensor measures oxygen saturation in seconds. Remain still during measurement, and wear the watch snugly to avoid light leakage, for the most accurate reading.
Blood Pressure
On-demand systolic and diastolic estimates, with the readings of your last seven measurements held for reference. Calibration in the Da Fit app is recommended before first use. A directional indicator for daily awareness, not a medical device.
Sleep Monitoring
Total sleep duration, with deep and light sleep stages, displayed on the watch and presented in greater detail within the app.
Pressure & Breathing
Monitor stress levels through the day, and follow the on-screen breathing guidance for a brief, calming exercise whenever you wish to pause.
06 · The World
Notifications & Connectivity
Message Push
Calls, messages, social alerts, and other phone notifications are delivered to the watch and held for review. The message page stores your five most recent records. Enable each notification within the app.
Incoming Call Alerts
When your phone rings, the SOLARA displays the incoming call and allows you to decline it from the wrist.
Camera Shutter
With the app connected and your phone’s camera open, press and hold on the watch’s camera page to trigger the shutter. Photographs are saved to your phone.
Music Control
Control playback on your connected phone — play and pause, move between tracks, and adjust the volume, all from the wrist.
Weather
Once paired, current conditions appear on your SOLARA. Swipe up to view the forecast for the days ahead. Open the app periodically to keep the information current.

Sport & Activity
A range of modes, from quiet practice to spirited play.
Throughout the day, the SOLARA records your total steps, walking distance, calories, and active duration across each period — a quiet account of your movement.
Activity Records
Each session is captured in detail and presented as a history you may revisit on the watch or, more fully, within the Da Fit app.
08 · Everyday
Daily Companions
Alarm Clock
Set alarms directly on the watch, or schedule them within the app — up to eight in all. At the appointed time, the watch displays the alarm and vibrates gently.
Stopwatch & Timer
Begin timing with a tap, pausing and resuming as required; or set a countdown, and let a gentle vibration signal its completion.
Compass
Find your bearing at a glance — for the trail, the unfamiliar street, or simple curiosity.
Sedentary Reminder
Enabled within the app, a gentle prompt invites you to rise and move after an hour at rest.
Further Tools
Do-not-disturb and power-saving modes, brightness and vibration controls, and the companion app’s download code — each within easy reach in the watch’s settings.
09 · Made Yours
Personalising Your Watch
The SOLARA is designed to reflect its wearer. A few small adjustments make it unmistakably yours.
Watch Faces
Your SOLARA arrives with a curated selection of dials pre-installed — including the floral face featured in our campaign imagery. To switch between them, press and hold anywhere on the watch face for a moment; the available styles will appear for you to scroll through and select. Additional designs, refreshed each season, are available within the Da Fit app.
Menu Style
Choose how applications are displayed — among them a horizontal line, a full-moon arrangement, or a honeycomb grid. Each presents the same functions with a different sensibility.
System Information
Within the watch settings you may view the Bluetooth identifier, MAC address, and firmware version — the small details occasionally requested by support.
Restore Factory Settings
A factory restore returns the SOLARA to its original state and erases all personal data. We recommend it only when transferring ownership or troubleshooting under guidance from our service team.
10 · Longevity
Care & Maintenance
A few simple practices will keep your SOLARA beautiful for many years.
Water Resistance
The SOLARA carries an IP68 rating — dust-tight, and resistant to rain, splashes, and brief immersion. Please remove the watch before showering, bathing, or swimming, and avoid hot water, as steam and high temperatures may affect the seal. Should sound become muffled after water exposure, gently shake the watch with the speaker facing down to release residual moisture.
Daily Wear
After exercise, loosen or remove the watch and allow the skin and case-back to breathe. Wipe the case and strap clean and dry before placing the watch back on the wrist.
When Stored
If set aside for an extended period, charge the SOLARA fully before storing and again at least once a month.

11 · The Fit
Your Band
The SOLARA takes a 20 mm band. Every NOVACCHI strap in that width fits interchangeably.
Fastening the Milanese Mesh
The mesh band has no fixed holes and no preset notches. Slide the buckle clasp along the mesh to the position that suits your wrist, then fold the clasp closed to lock it in place. Once set, it need not be adjusted again; the watch simply opens and closes at the clasp each time you wear it.
Changing Your Strap
Turn the watch face down on a soft cloth. On the underside of the strap, find the small lever on the spring bar and draw it towards the centre of the band; the strap will release from the lug. To fit the new strap, seat one end of the spring bar in the lug, draw the lever back, and let the second end settle into place. A gentle tug will confirm it is secure.
Caring for the Band
Mesh and stainless straps may be wiped with a soft cloth. Dry the band fully before wearing it again, and take particular care to dry between the links after exercise.

13 · Should You Need Us
If Something Is Not Right
These are the questions we are asked about most.
The watch will not pair
The connection is made from within Da Fit, not from the watch and not from your phone’s own Bluetooth menu. Open the app, tap Device, then Add Device, and keep the watch charged and close at hand while it searches.
My steps are not counting
Complete your profile in Da Fit first, as height, weight, age and gender are what the step and calorie figures are calculated from. Confirm the app has permission to read Motion and Fitness data on your phone, then pull down on the app’s data page to synchronise. Wear the watch snugly, one finger-width above the wrist bone, so the motion sensor reads clearly.
Notifications are not arriving
Each notification type is enabled individually within the app, and Da Fit must be permitted to run in the background for alerts to reach the wrist.
A reading looks inconsistent
Remain still while measuring and wear the watch snugly. A loose fit admits light to the sensor, which is the most common cause of an unexpected result.
The watch will not charge
Align the two-pin magnetic cable with the contacts on the case-back, wiping both clean if the watch has been worn during exercise. Use a 5V / 0.5A or 5V / 1A adapter rather than a fast charger.

14 · Our Commitment
Warranty & Service
Every SOLARA is accompanied by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
What the Warranty Covers
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. Should an issue arise, our team will repair or replace your watch at no charge. The Milanese mesh band carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
What is Not Covered
Wear and tear from daily use, accidental damage, water damage outside the IP68 rating, modifications, or use of non-NOVACCHI accessories.
Making a Claim
Please write to us at hello@novacchi.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and a photograph if possible. We respond within one business day.
Returns
Should the SOLARA not be right for you, it may be returned within thirty days of delivery in its original condition, with all accessories including the charging cable. Please write to us first and we will send the return address and instructions.
